A Discreet ‘Third Way’ To Transact In Classic & Supercars
Many investors and collectors require discretion and confidentiality in their transactions and do not want it to be publicly known that they are buying or selling a particular classic or supercar. This is especially true of the high net worth individuals who are part of Coterie private members club or personal contacts of our experts like Iain Tyrell.
Unlike dealers with high overheads of staff and premises, we do not need to offer low trade-ins and high sticker prices to make a living.
Unlike auction houses we do not charge eye-watering fees of up to 25% of the sale price split between buyer and seller
We facilitate transactions in a personal way directly between buyer and seller. The price will be fair and the fee charged is a reasonable reflection of the work involved in bringing together the right car, the right buyer and the right seller. A proper contract will be drawn up and an escrow account used in the transfer of funds.
We provide a menu of services to facilitate these transactions including:
- Searching the world to find the car that most closely meets your requirements
- Due diligence to validate the provenance of a vehicle you are thinking of acquiring
- A detailed inspection to confirm the condition of the vehicle and any anticipated expenditure to bring it up to the standard you require
- Negotiation of the transaction on your behalf (we can often achieve a saving that covers our own fee, effectively making our services free to the buyer).
It all starts with a conversation so please use the form below to tell us what you want to do and we will be in touch to see if we can help.
